Patients Affairs

Any Person approaching O.M.C. for medical services and is having any concern or issue - Our Patient Relations staff is available during the clinical hours for you and your family's assistance. If you have a question or concern about your experience at our medical center , we would like to hear from you. Help us see things through your eyes as we strive to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

If you have any concern, our Patient Relations staff is always available at your service to assist you in all the possible ways.

If you let us know about your concern two things will happen:

  • You will give us the opportunity to solve your problem
  • In solving your problem, we learn how to provide better service.

A patient Service Officer is available to maintain positive relations with the patients and their families. The patient Officer is capable to answer any questions about hospital policies, encourage communication between hospital departments and champion patient rights.

A patient Officer will:

  • Assist with understanding of the overall clinical working environment. ( answer questions, explain policies and procedures, connect with appropriate staff )
  • Provide a link between the hospital, patient and families, especially in area of conflict resolution concerning treatment or care.
  • Provide a formal mechanism for the investigation, resolution and recording of a patient complaint and take appropriate action.
  • Respond to concerned patients in a timely manner.
  • Assist in sorting out any communication gaps or pending issues with the insurance service providers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all files and allows access only to person appropriately involved in the resolution of the concern.
  • Make recommendations for improvement based on patient feedback.
  • Provide information about resources both inside and outside of the hospital.
